Elderly woman walks away from crash

So, Friday morning I’m on my way to New Hamburg and going down Erb Street. I stop at the gas station at Erbsville, only to discover my wallet is still laying on my table at home. I had to drive all the way back to Ashley and Darryl’s to get the wallet, then get gas, then head out on my way again. I go back down Erb Street, and as I’m pulling into St. Agatha, police are blocking the road because of the accident in this article, and I had to turn all the way around and go to back to Erbsville. This woman ran her van into a hydro pole, and if I hadn’t forgotten my wallet I might’ve been in St. Agatha at the time of the accident. It is truly amazing how God uses even little things like forgetfulness to save lives - what if that hydro pole had been me, and both the elderly woman and I would have died? How many times are we saved a day by God and we don’t even know it? Does this woman know the crash could have been worse? These are questions we will probably never have answers for, but we can rest assured that our Creator always holds us close, whether we know it or not.
